Emmanuel Corno (GD/ND) and Florence Noé (dev) met in 2015 while developing Event[0]. Ten years later, they founded their own coop studio, Tohu Bohu, after more than 10 indie games to their credits: Heave Ho, Shinobi, Foretales, Worlds of Aria…
Quentin Vijoux is the project initiator. He is an illustrator and a comic book author — his last publication, Jeux de classes (Seuil Jeunesse BD), is a story based on the essay Une Brève histoire de l’égalité from Thomas Piketty. In 2023, Ludogram released the video game Firebird, written by FibreTigre and himself. He is based in Amsterdam (Netherlands).
In 2023, Quentin contacted Emmanuel and Florence to introduce them to his dream project, a game about cartography and borders. He has been supported by CNC a first time to prototype and document a proof of concept. Then, when Tohu Bohu started working on the game, CNC has granted another fund to cover the entire pre-production. The team is now looking for a publisher to cover the production.
